OK, heres me with a BUCKET load of questions. I just got CFW but I'm like the noobiest noob ever.
I download a PSP game. It was my third. The other two have been isos, but this one came up with folders like sysdir, usrdir, each of which contained more folders, eboots, sfos, pngs, everything. What do i do with this and how do i make it work.
Second, what do i do with iso/csos to make them play. Do I just dump them in PSP/Game, do i need to put them in a specific folder, or use an eloader.
Third, whats an eloader.
Fourth, I have a GBA emulator, but where do i put it apart from PSP/Game and where do I stick the ROMS.
Fifth, I had a GBA ROM that wasnt listed in the emulator files. Is this a problem?
to play iso games you put them in the iso folder in the root of your memory stick. what GBA emulator are you using as 4 and 5 are different for each emulator.
1. Prob the game has been completely uncompressed so youd need to recompress it (idk how to do this i recommend getting your files somewheres eles)
2. ISO/CSH go in a file you make named ISO (doesnt matter if its cso) and put the ISO folder in the root of your memory stick (the top page no subfolder)
3. Eloaders were originaly used to run homebrew/downgraders on ofw but are no longer needed by use of Pandoras battery UNLESS you are on a psp slim that cannot use the 1.50 kernal for some 1.50 hombrew you can use Eloader 1.000 from noobs (which you could also use Dark Alex's time machine.
4. You just put it in the PSP/Game Folder (or game150 if you want i guess) the roms go in the romes folder in the subfolder you put in game (in the one without the % if there isnt one make one) or you could prob just make a ROM folder on the root of the memory stick (the top page not a subfolder) and navigate to it from the emulator.
5.Lol i dont really understand what your saying here um put the rom in the ROMS folder or um do you mean it dont show up if thats so your rom isnt in the right place? try navigateing to it from the emulator menu if you can it would help to know what emulator you are useing i recommend useing the newest version of GPSP KAI whick can be found on dl.qj.net.
1. Let me guess, there is a USDIR, SYSDIR folder in a PSP_GAME folder. Am i correct ? U need to rebuild the ISO. Use my guide.
2. Follow what ERIC said, if u dont have the ISO folder. Reformat ur stick via PSP
3. What eric said. just want to add that is has nothin to do with ISO and CSO
4. Let say it not as easy as it looks. What GBA version do u have? Do u have a fat or slim. Roms can put anywhere, when u start GPSP it will ask you where to run the Roms
