Ok i have been burning movies off avi for about a year. Here's the problem sometimes they play and sometimes they don't play in my dvd. I use cucusoft and have suffent codecs. So i thought maybe the disc i stopped using memersux and switched to tdk always use -. I know not much better. The tdk will sometimes start and sometimes not out of the same batch. Maybe the dvd player witch is apex(cheap) is the problem. But they wont play on my sisters at all. I would like to find a solution to the problem so me and my sister can watch them on our own players. And my second problem is some of them are choppy I think this is from cucu do you know of a free program like this or a cheap one i can swith too.

TDK is the same as memorex (cmc mag) AVOID!!

use Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim or even Sony burning at 6x to 8x max. also make sure you have the most up to date firmware for your drive/burner.

using the DVD dash R format is probably the best bet or if your using the DVD plus R format booktype to DVD-ROM
