I can't seem to back up T2. The disc my wife bought says extreme dvd on the box. Dvdfab will not rip it, it won't even start the rip. I can rip it with Dvd Decrypter with AnyDvd running in the background then burn with Shrink and Nero 6 but the Dvd will not play in a stand alone player but will play on my computer but with no sound. Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks

I have the set and it should be no problem as it is an older release.
1) what kind of discs are you using ?
2) what burn speed are u at?

There is something fishy about this DVD, it is the only DVD in my collection that DVDfab will not decrypt.

Well I had a little success. DVDFab will not rip T2 but DVD Decypter will with AnyDVD running in the background. Then I ran it through FixVTS. After that with Shrink and Nero 6 I was able to burn a Single Layer DVD with around 15% compression but when I burn a DL DVD they just will not play. Strange!

I have not used Imgburn before. What exactly do you want me to do, run Shrink then burn with Imgburn?

Is there a way to link Shrink and Imgburn so that Imgburn will work automatically, similar to Shrink and Nero?

You think that was interesting....as soon as I finished, replied back, and went to reopen dvdfab, I was getting a C++ runtime error. But, as soon as I d/l and installed version 5.0.2.5, the runtime error disappeared.

Thank you, you are welcome, and welcome to aD.
BTW, I think you have a bad copy of T2, exchange and retry.
