I've been copying DVDs with IC8 for a while now w/o much care for video quality since I'm watching on a 27" screen and I never noticed any degradation. I just upgraded to a much bigger screen and the video quality loss is much more obvious.

From now on, I'm trying to maximize the disc image file size output by IC8. I just tried backing up a disc at 100% video quality with one audio track and keeping the menus. IC8 reported that the output file would be 4.44 GB. The actual image ended up being 4.43 GB which is what I expected... still too big for one disc. So I reduced the video quality to 98.5%. IC8 reported that the output file would be 4.37 GB, just perfect. When I run the compression, the actual image ended up being 3.34GB!!! I have more than 1GB of open space left on the disc! Does anyone know a workaround? 98.5% compression should fit perfectly, but the image is about 75%!

ANY HELP AT ALL will be greatly appreciated!
