hi could someone help me, i have psp slim and the current version is 3.72 and i want to upgrade it to a higher version specifically 3.90m 33-3. I have downloaded the file but when i tried to run the programs it says the game could not be started(80020148). Thats the error i recieved when i tried to run the program. I placed the file on the psp/game/update folder.

btw does 3.72 have a recovery menu or console maybe?

You can not run homebrew programs on a official firmware PSP. This is why you are getting the "Game could not be started error".

You will either have to find someone that has a custom firmware PSP that can use the program to convert a Battery to a Pandora Battery.

Or you will need to Hardmod a battery or buy a Datel Tool Battery.

HERE is a guide if you only have access to a Official firmware PSP.

HERE is a guide if you know someone that already has a custom firmware PSP and is willing to help you install custom firmware to your official firmware PSP.

thanx larry i would try this..but sorry to ask,i just dont seem to understand what is pandorra battery and the other battery you mean. Is it the battery that i currently have on my psp? sorry to ask..im just ignorant/curious about this.
