my brother users a three network dongle to connect to the internet.....can this be used to connect to xbox live....if so what does he need .... cheers for any help

it should be able to be used, but i believe with ethernet splitters, only one device can connect to the net at the same time. he should be able to plug the ethernet cable into the dongle, and the back of the 360 and log into live.
