Hi..

I have a NOkia 6070 mobile phone which was bought in Philippines and works well with the SIM bought there. With Global roaming, I'm able to use it in INDIA & every where.

I want to use a local SIM card bought in India - Airtel to save on roaming charges while using it for local calls in India.

But I get the message 'Phone Restricted' & with the only option to UNDO. When I select UNDO, it asks for "Enter Restriction Code".

I don't have any code to enter. Please help.

how to use remove simm card and power on phone
enter the code provided
use the star key(*) to get the P and W and + signs by pressing it quickly ando you'll get it

please only try ONCE if u get error STOP..come back and tell me

please verify the code before u enter the last digit onto your phone

please reply and say if it works

however, I got a mail with similar code ending as +1# which worked.

Hence, I cannot give a fedback on this code.

when u first created the thread, there was a title bar.....for u to put a title for your thread....now if u hit reply to reply to me just look at the screen closely and you'll see a button that says edit title or soemthin.....

hit that and edit the title of your thread and put the word closed- problem solved..
