i have a usa region psp and for over a hour this moring i tried installing go messenger on my usa region psp i followed all the instructions and nothing worked i have 3.95 OFW

your have to do it this way because you have a Us region PSP

I think you will need to install custom firmware before you are able to do this...see the guide in the stickies.
