I was downgrading someone elses PSP and bricked it by accident, because there was a problem with the MMS. So i made new ones, but when I put them in the screen just stays black, the MS light flashes for a few seconds.
So i use the easy installer, and I worked out what the problem is. Because I dont have a spare PSP on me and the only one I can get to is bricked, when the Installer asks me what drive I'm using I have to put my PC's MS slot, and it cant verify the PSP. There are no other PSP's onhand that I can use!!!
@ Splagl: reading from another thread earlier, i think he/she already has a pandora, but the MMS is no longer working.
@ pspgrif: Your best bet is to remake the MMS (use the guide i linked you to in your other thread) using a device that uses MS Pro Duo and can be connected to your PC. After making the MMS, put it in your PSP, then your Pandora. It should bring up a menu, where you will just have to press X to install 3.71 M33-2. Let it do its thing and hopefully it should be ok.
Like i said in your other thread though, make sure you back up and then format you MS before making the MMS.
Also...your not using a PC with vista on to make the MMS are you, as it will probably not work right.
