unbricking using total newbie installer v3 not working

hello all, please help, i bricked my psp, i downloaded the total newbie installer v3 and used a 1 gb and a 512 mb mem card with a reader to format it using my pc. i made a pandora battery by opening the slim battery and disconnecting pin 5 of the eeprom. when i put it back in the slim psp, the green light automatically comes on. so that means its working. now i put in the 1gb memcard formatted by the unviversal unbricker v3, ans i followed all instructions, it does not work. the mem card led light does not flash. i then tried with a 512mb card, the green light comes on and ges off after 5secs. what am i doing wrong, please help, angelw3x

dont use that installer. It kinda old. Use this guide
