NTSC (usa) wii system Pal dvd player. What is my region?

I have a ntsc (usa) wii system. I bought a pal dvd player with the wii key. What makes the region on the wii. Is my system still mtsc or pal because of the dvd player?

Also what region games can I play so i can be %100 safe from a brick?

ok so the PAL dvd player wont make my system PAL? since thats what runs the games?

Well since you are outputting the Wii's NTSC video signal into a PAL DVD player, I think the signal will turn into PAL- not sure though.

But no, the Wii's system will not become PAL.
