I've encoded several DVDs, both using 5.1 and 2.0 sound. They all play back fine on my pc (Vista Premium) but the A/V is slightly out of sync when I view them on my TV via the Xbox 360. Using Nero Media Home to transcode when needed on the fly. Wired 100mb network at home, so speed isn't the issue. Anyone else seen this or know of fix?
Not sure what you mean by what program am I using? for what?
There might be a bit torrent client running, but that's it, nothing else running on my pc.
Specs:
Quad-core Intel @ 2.4Ghz
4gb ram (3.2 available since it is 32bit PS)
8800GTX, latest drivers
Gig-E network (X360 is 100mb)
Nero Media home is doing the streaming.
Vista Ultimate, all patches up to date.
AVG anti-virus
Spysweeper

You beg for problems when you have ANYTHING running while you are encoding.
but i don't think encoding is the issue. When i watch the files played back on the pc, there's no sync issue. it is only when i stream them to MCE on the Xbox 360.
