No, if you have a DATEL TOOL BATTERY, the TOOL function is hard coded into the battery, so it cannot be converted to a normal battery.

DAMN THIS WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i bought a battery from ebay, and it only plays up to when its got 30 percent of power left then it dies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

can i fix this somehow??????????

AN ANSWER WOULD B REALLY REALLY REALLY APRECIATED!!!!!

if i cant fix it, then can someone give me that battery info plugin plz, because i no that i have to turn my psp off and charge it a thirty??? plzplzplzplz pritty prtiity plz!!!!!!

that's why you never get batteries off ebay; always get it from a retail store.

you can't fix it. if you use a different eeprom, it'll just make things worse.

only thing to do is buy a new battery.

tool batterys can NOT be changed back to normal. but pandoras can if u put the prong back by soldering it. only do this if good with soldering. (i made a robot which sees with infrared with my soldering skills...but thats beside the point.)

alrit thnkz for trying anyway.....whats weird is that wen the psp turns off at thirty percent the screen comes up with the out of battery sign........

ok here is ur answer but u won't like it. chances are the battery is no good. not so much the circuitry of it, but more likely the lithium-ion battery itself is no good. basically they jipped u on a battery. sorry kid... :(
