Hey, my friend is comming to town for a while and we decided we wanted to make a guitar hero automatic player. We decided that the best way would probably be to use a computer program dto do it all for us. The only problem is, we don't know anything about IC programing, so writing a program with cases wouldn't work for us...not to mention that we don't have any blank IC's, or a connector for one. So, we were wondering if there was a program that sent set voltages through the ethernet cable, that way we could trigger relays at the end of the cable. So, for example, it runs through a notepad setup with all of the notes typed in along with a tempo at the top(maybe a wait system, so it waits that amount each time between notes). As it scrolls down the list, it triggers each relay for each note needed, along with triggering a relay for the strummer padel, to actually hit the notets. I doubt that something like this exists, so if it doesn't can someone give us a nudge in the correct direction of what kind of cable to use and what program?
