my psp has been working fine ever since ive had it... since i installed 3.90 m33-2, my psp has been freezing randomly when i play cso games. usually, it'll shut off by itself and the screen won't turn on for a few minutes even though the green LED turns on when i switch the power on... after a few minutes, when i turn it on, the screen flickers and i can hold R while powering up to bring up the recovery screen and everythings fine. HOWEVER, a few days ago it shut off while i was playing mlb 08, and now the only thing that comes on is the green LED and the screen wont flicker, no recovery screen... its been like this for days can someone help me?

ok lol samething for me now i just posted and said only thing that worked was my recovery mode but now im at the same stage your at... my psp LEDs all turn on for a little bit and shut off..... dang i wish i could help

3 words. "you bricked it." dont worry, theres a simple solution make a pandora battery, and a magic memory stick make sure to get a new mem stick to turn into a magic one because it erases all normal data on the stick and is impossible to go back. (if not sure on how to do this look it up on the search bar on this site.)

Try not play games in cso format. It usually tends to freeze the game. At least put the CPU speed to 333 and with the UMD mode to Np9660.

theres a chance that this is the problem, but u might have bricked it. but now that i think about cso games DO freeze the psp sometimes...
