what is the difference between a wifi usb dongle and a wifi usb adapter? i have a 40gb ps3 but the wireless network im using for my laptop cannot be reached by my ps3, i'm using a usb dongle to access the network... if i get one of these "usb wifi adapters", will that spread the connection to my ps3?

in the SYSTEM, its autoMATIC...

I would have to say absolutely nothing.

Dongle is just a slang term many ppl use to describe a usb pen like device.

i'm guessing you use the "wifi adapter" in conjuction with a wifi enabled pc to create an access point in which the ps3 can connect to.
