But when I try it on my 4GB memory stick, it doesn't work. It just shows a blank screen and a green light when I put the 4GB magic memory stick and then the pandora battery. How can I get this to work on a 4GB memory stick? I want to put more games in my psp. Please help.

I'm not sure about this but once you updated your psp slim or fat to a customfirmware you dont need to flash it anymore, just put your 4 gb memcrad in your psp, connect to computer and put the game in the root in the folder "ISO"x:\ISO\, you can put as many games on your memstick untill it is full.
I am not sure about this but i am only trying to help, hope it helps
You are right.

After you have installed custom firmware you can format the Memory Stick (Don't forget to convert the battery back to normal before formating the MMS).

Or you can use the 4GB as is ( as long as you have a normal battery in). If your battery is still pandorized then you need to unpandorize it or use a normal battery.

It isn't just because of those that are ungrateful and the repetitive question being asked over and over again. I just haven't been in the PSP forum much lately. As well I don't want to spend the time keeping the guides updated.

If anyone wants to start a new guide and use the files HERE they are. I will keep the files up on sendspace for a bit longer in case someone wants to use them in a new guide and host the files themselves.

Well no one can blame you for that, but why delete the guide.
Just edit your post to say your not updating anymore after this date.

It was a very good guide. The best I have come across and used.

I don't want to get tons of PM's like I have been getting and the files are hosted on my mediafire and sendspace acount and I could use the extra room.

Some of the other guides I have created are still up because I direct link the programs to other websites and not mediafire or sendspace.

The sendspace link is posted above for anyone who wants the files to create a new guide. But I am done with it. Sorry for any inconvenience.

This really sucks ... :(

I never make guides for the mod and firmware section. People tend to ask a LOT of questions. I hope someone does it. not to mention that im not good at english ...

Its really sad. All larrylje's guides are really useful. Like the 1 Stop and both Universal Unbricker. What should we do ? Anyone willing to make a guide. I rather have a guide posted on aD then some other forum sites.

I dont suppose you have a copy of the guide in a word doc??

I downloaded the files a few days a go and just came on to get stuck in and give them a blast when I found the edited post. :(

Its real sad to read that larrylje is requesting for this thread to be taken down, closed or deleted. We all understand that it can be overwhelming updating and maintaining this type of thread. All the issues that users post can at times be absurd due to the extensive content that this thread contains. Many just decide to post a repetitive question hoping for an answer that has already been solved within the previous 67 pages. This had led to frustration, and one wonders that this may be reason why larrylje is suggesting such request. I would do the same. New users should scan through all of the 67 pages and preform forum searches. In my opinion the guide should remain but someone should host and maintain or update the files that larrylje has provided if he permits it.

I would just like to say, "Thank you for all your help and for the guide that you have provided. I haven't seen a guide near even close that explains with such clarity. You have provided the installation files without obligation and we will always be in debt. If you do decide to abandon this thread, thanks once again larrylje."

Hey, the guide is deleted! I didn't even check the first page. I posted my post because in my list of subscribed threads it stated that this thread had been updated. Man, talk about not being informed. I feel kind of dumb right about now.

I agree its the best guide I have ever read or used for the psp. Google says the same about it from most users.

I wish he would reconsider leaving the guide and I can host the files on my rapidshare.
I am no expert on psp so cannot update guides, but what about having the thread closed with the guide remaining.

But at least I thank you very much larrylje for having wrote it as it sure worked great for me. No other guide would work for me.

Allot of you talked me into bringing it back. But this time I merged both guides into 1. Hopefully it won't be to confusing for users. You can find it HERE.

It should be easier to maintains since both guides Official and 1.50/CFW have been merged.

I promise the new thread will not be closed. Even if I decide not to keep it updated in the future I will keep it up.
