Can't get rawdump to recognize drive...

So, I just got an LG drive from my friend and he previously already used this drive (IDE) to copy a wii game using rawdump. My problem is that I installed the drive, but rawdump doesn't recognize it at all (though it does recognize my other SATA drive) . The device does show up in windows though (vista) and works for other media. I was wondering if any of you have ideas as to what I need to do to fix this, or if other programs exist that will achieve the same purpose...

By the way, the drive is an LG 8164B model. I think the firmware version is 0L06. I forgot to mention that I also tried friidump, but it won't even start. The terminal screen pops up but disappears again really quickly
