Looking to put one on my xbox 360 as well. But needs to be easy to install! I can open things, but no solder experience.

Or is there an easier way that I can play backup games...

Flash firmware of your DVD drive is teh easiest cheapest. Majority of people mod this way.

yes you want to go with flashing,cause it is cheap, and very easy to do. Follow the tutorial BurningAs posted, make sure you have a drive other than hitachi 79. Cause then that drive requires soldring. Also remember to buy some singapore verb's :)
