New psp with 3.90 M33

Dear all,

I just bought a new psp slim or 2000 and it comes with 3.90 M33 firmware according to the system information. The new memory stick comes with few ISO games. However when I tried to load the games, it doesn't work. After an intro, the screen went blank and then a message appear that say the game cannot be played (or something).

I have no idea and this is my first time having a PSP. I navigated the site and can't find anything about playing iso games on psp slim with 3.90 M33. Mostly guides are for older or different firmware. I also don't understand about the 1.50 kernel or time machine etc.

I would appreciate it very much if someone will be kind enough to guide me thru the proper steps:
1) Is the psp I have 3.90 M33 a cracked unit or official unit?
2) Do I need a special program or software on my PC to upload the ISO games to my PSP?
3) What special software do I need to install in the memory stick in order to play ISO games?
4) Does ISO game means cracked/pirated original/official game?
5) How the hell do I increase the volume of the unit? It is so soft even with headphone.

Thanks in advance to all the kind soul for helping a newbie.

2) Do I need a special program or software on my PC to upload the ISO games to my PSP?: no just drag and drop onto the iso file when psp is connected through usb mode
3) What special software do I need to install in the memory stick in order to play ISO games?: no drag and drop
4) Does ISO game means cracked/pirated original/official game?: it's just a copied version of the official game
5) How the hell do I increase the volume of the unit? It is so soft even with headphone: no idea other then press increase on the volume button other then that I have no idea how to surpass the volume limit.

Thanks, appreciate if you or others could let me know on the following as well:
1) Is there a way to get the PSP to play other format like avi, XviD etc other than MP4?
2) Currently my cfw is 3.90 M33-3. Is there a need to upgrade the cfw to newer when it is available?
3) I read about time machine and kernel. Does my PSP2000 slim has them too? If so where can I see the information on my PSP?
