I have been using the latest version of shrink for several years now with no problems and all of sudden when I'm creating the ISO file about halfway through the encoding process my pc just shuts down. I have also reinstalled shrink but still does the same thing. It does the same thing with older movies with no copy protection on them. I can burn movies from saved ISO files with no problem. Any ideas?

Sounds like your PC is overheating.

I agree, sounds like a heat issue. Open your case and blow out all the dust and make sure your fans are operating properly.

I've already done that but it still acts up. I also have external fans blowing on pc but it don't help. It was working fine untill I renewed Webroot Spy Sweeper. I have disabled Spy Sweeper and still no luck. Any other ideas?

Have you uninstalled it completely and cleaned your registry with Ccleaner?

WINRAR can be used to open direct ISO documents.
The use of any other virtual drive can also

ISOBUST compatibility may be relatively poor, but some special features
