I just bought a psp from a friend. Id like to downgrade it so i can play old roms and emu. If would be possible to load posp games on it thast be great to.

Use THIS guide, or THIS one if you have a friend with a PSP already running custom firmware.

know one does that i know of so im pretty much in the dark mate :( ty for responding. How big do i need the mem stick to be? I know bigger the better. Is there a certain one i need? brand? I also read that i needa new battery? Why and will it hurt my psp?

just get a memory stick larger than 512mb
pandora is the safest way to go

ya i just got a 4 gig one off ebay for 20 bucks. Walmart wanted frickin 40 bucks . grr hate wally world. So i need to get a new battery.
