ok before you start reading someone closed my last thread...so I will not be posting anymore "help" "please help me" "I really need help" subject titles I didn't know it was a part of the rules to not post topics similar to those....so I tried a different one well here goes...

ok I got a slim ps2....scph-79001....i've eventually opened it and voided the warranty I didn't want to but I just had a situation with other stuff and decided I would just do it....well you know the green power button data/chip/all the tiny stuff that I can't name...sorry...I think I did what's called "short circuited" it somehow by touching it too much...

so I got one of my pieces from one of my older fat ps2 modeled consoles....and took the white cord that plugs into the one I think I short circuited...and plugged one end into the power/reset/eject piece from my older fat ps2 and plugged the other end into the end it needs to go into...the two ends also have those gold electric strips so I don't confuse anybody..

well after I plugged the white cords ends where they needed to go...I heard the fan come on..it had power and there was a sigh of relief but after a while I wasn't getting any juice at all and right now i'm not either...i'm thinking the other green power button chip would be easier to work with since it was made with the 79001 model..so i'm wondering if I should try it again after giving it a break and having it layed somewhere either I short circuited it or I didn't..

but what do you guys think it actually shocked me that that old ps2 power piece made the fan come on i'm still at work on this situation what should I do at this point i'm trying hard
