im running fw 3.95 from sony
everything i try running a CWF on my PSP it say "this game cannot be played" (80020148) can someone help

sry i forgot its not just the CWF i try running its every application under my game section shows the psp icon then goes to error code 80020148

you CANNOT upgrade straight to custom firmware, or run anything off the memory stick on official firmware.

THIS is the only way for 3.51+ firmwares. also, you need XP. vista will not work.
