Session fixation errorD after analyzing finishes

I have dvd shrink 3.2.0.15, it was working fine for a while. Yesterday I started getting "Session fixation errorD:TSSTCorp DVD+RW TS-H553A" error messages right after analysis completed and writing lead-in began. I also get the text below in a window about a minute later, (0% burning then the message below). I can encode and shrink files ok, and then burn w/recode afterwards, but burning w/DVD Shrink fails. Has anyone run into this before? How do I fix it? I tried reinstalling dvd shrink, no luck. I've got Vista w/Core duo 2.13GHZ and TSST TS-H553A DVD +-RW drive

This error has nothing to do with DVD Shrink.
This is a Nero error.
Please post the Nero burn log.
99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.

it appears I was wrong w/Recode working too...it said it successfully completed copying, but I just checked the dvd it suppossedly burned, and its blank. I retried burning and it failed.

While Sony media is considered to be decent media, you may want to try a different brand.
You can also try burning at 8X.
Another possibity is that the drive is failing.

i can not get DVDShrink to work on Vista so I downloaded Menushrink and I can not figure out how to use it.. Can someone help this new to this forum member

In my case, it seems that replacing the SATA cable on my dvd rw drive fixed the problem. I'd recommend anyone with similar problems try that before replacing their burner.

For me, changing the SATA cable fixed the initial problem (the fixation error). Apparently the cable was probably starting to fail, which caused connection issues to the DVD RW drive, which resulted in failed jobs. I replaced the cable, which fixed the connection issue, which meant no more issues w/DVD shrink.
