Alright, so at the end of this month there's a big chance I'm getting a PSP for my birthday. So, to play ISOs, I've read that I must make a few modifications. So, I've read the Afterdawn guides, and watched tutorials on Youtube, so I want to see if I'm gonna do this the right way;
So, first I must hardmod my battery, right? I do this by lifting the wire next to the 4 in ICO4, is that correct?So, that should make my battery a Pandora...right?Then, I must format my Memory Stick, and connect the PSP to my PC, in USB mode?After that, I copy a folder named PAndora to :C, and open CommandPrompt, and write a few stuff(I won't bother to write it all, but I saw on YT what must be written).Then, I copy something in my PSP, after that using Pandora's GUI, directly to step 4, right?
Then, I take it out of USB mode.Now I'm supposed to have Magic Memory Stick, right? Now, I must put custom firmware on it. I just turn on my psp, and it will ask me something ,it will install it and that's it? Then, I've read that I must put the wire to the board again so it will become a normal battery, so I can play ISOs, right?
Thank you in advance for clarifications. I really want to be sure of this so I don't mess it up. Thanks again
Its a lot easier just to follow THIS guide step by step...then you shouldn't have any problems.
Also, if you are a "noob", i wouldn't recommend hard modding your battery, as it is very tricky, and your battery may not work properly afterwards. Instead, buy a TOOL battery from amazon for around £10. Then you have it if you ever need to unbrick your PSP or anything.
You can also pick pandora's up on ebay for about £10 aswel.
Like IBIZGATI said above if you are a noob your better off using another person with cfw or you just order one from amazon or ebay but never order the mms from ebay because 95% of ebays mms are fake.
