My psp internet will no longer work may someone plz help me

Hi my white slim psp thats running OFW 3.95 will no longer access the internet for some reason. Everytime i try to connect to the internet my psp will connect but i always get the "Communication With the Server Failed. A DNS error has Occurred. (80410410)" wats up with that. its been doing this for about 2 days now. the router is perfectly fine though i can connect to the internet on my computer but not on my psp. the router is a netgear and it is secured. can someone pleez help me out. without the internet my psp is mearly a music player.

i assume your psp actually connects to the internet but does not open the website. that typically means one of two things 1 that you have bad signal strength which means you should move closer to the router or 2 that the website is having problems.

my psp wont use the internet at all. it will connect but after like 30 seconds i get that error. i can be sitting right next to my router and it still wont work.

try going to a different website to see if it is the website is the problem

make sure you inputed the code to access the router correctly into the psp

my wep key is perfectly correct. i dont have problems with any of these things its the dns error thats gettin to me. i can connect perfectly fine to the internet it obtains the ip address and everything but after 30 seconds it gives me that error. so i know it has nothin to do with my code.

try this get to your router options and find:

SSID - name of your network
WEP - you should have that
the IP
the primary dns
the secondary dns

and then enter all the details in manualy and see if that helps

also if your using a proxy make sure you have all the information correct or disable it.

it seems like your having a problem connecting to the internet but the WLAN works fine. to check this go to settings -> network settings -> infasturcture mode then click triangle on your connectiong and then go test connectiong.

at the end if it says connected to internet: failed then it is a problem with something not letting your psp through on your router.

it could be the firewall but its highly unlikely but it could be worth a try to disable it and try to see if that helps. if it doesnt re-enable it.
