Best Way to Backup 360 Games??

Ok i currently have 3 Xbox 360 Consoles,
the 1st one is a Hitachi Flashed with iXtreme 1.4
The Second is a TS H943 ms25 FLashed with iXtreme 1.4
The Final one is a Benq VAD6038 Flashed with iXtreme 1.41
Now i want to Create Backup's
I can Get the BenQ into 0800 (FLASH)
When i go into Windows it can see the Drive but all the games come up as a Movie :(
Now the TS and the Hitachi drive.... with ixtreme 1.4 how the hell do i get it into 0800mode?
i was thinkin about doing the Hotswap method BUT i dont got a big a55 DVD :(
Can i just burn a shed load of data to a DVD+R DL??
I would prefer Help with using the Drives in 0800mode - i prefer this method as the BenQ is very easy to get into 0800 mode

ok Because no1 seems to be helping im helping myself.......
I used UNLOCK 1st then inserted Halo3
In Mycomputer i saw NOTHING at all only a empty BenQ Drive
I then Opened XBC and it still showed my game as 4TB BUT as soon as i clicked get SS information :D I got this :D

you are horrible at using google if you couldnt find out how to back up 360 games. it would only take about 1 second to find about 10 different ways.
download then, burn them
use the samsung shd-162c pc drive or the 3 other drives that can be flashed with the kreon fw to copy your games and burn them.
use the samsung drive out of the 360 and put it into 0800 mode with the 0800 disc and rip the games.
go the cheap and stupid way and hotswap them and then take the time to inject the ss pfi dmi files so you can play them.

My Question Wasnt about How to burn games EXACTLY
It was How to RIP + Burn Using a BenQ in 0800 mode.... Go get me a Guide for that on Google :|

OK I have a Sammy With iXtreme 1.4... the 0800 disk Does not work on iXtreme 1.4 *I TRYED*

I dont have a DVD Movie big enuf to do thism Please read before you reply
BUT Don't worry about it i got to rip games with the BenQ it was rather easy process when i finaly got it right
Now Go on Google and Find me a Guide to Rip Games Using the BenQ in 0800mode... Or Go and find me a Guide where to put a sammy in ixtreme 1.4 into 0800mode Or go find me a guide telling me how to put a hitachi with ixtreme 1.4 into 0800mode.....
I bet you dont come back with a reply any time soon

well anybody that knew anything would have known that a samsung drive with any ixtreme you cant use the 0800 method. you can only use it with the old xtreme FW. and last i checked you couldnt use 0800 with hitachi drives. and for your benq drive with 0800 there were about 5 sites in a row that said to flash it with the 0800 and use XBC 2.8 to rip the games, dont know what else you would need to be told in order to rip the games.

Is the Samsung shd-162 drive expensive to buy or get from where daveoboy comes from I got the Samsung drive cost me £15 in the uk saves a whole lot of hassle back up a game in under an hour with no need to hot swap - pop the top off - etc etc makes life a whole lot easier

extremely busy at the time. back on vacation for another 2 weeks and was unloading the trailer for hopefully the last time and putting together a dinner table and a bed, and some bunk beds, just happened to hear outlook chime that i had an email. but nice to see its been almost 11 hours and the other guy has yet to post back.

Yeah the sites about the BenQ using XBC yeah But they dont tell you how to rip with that program Or how to unlock the Drive to RIP As the XBC program doesn't unlock the BenQ it just brings back a message sayin "Already unlocked Drive space 4.00TB.... Somehow that is wrong
BUT YAY i can do the Rips good now
For anyone who needs help all you do is...
Open DVDinfoPro and enter the codes 12 00 00 00 24 77 00 00 00 00 00 00
Then Open XBC
Click Drive tools and Choose "Security Sector"
Save it But after that you must scrool up on the text box at the bottom and make sure it does not say Media Type 4.00TB If it does send the Unlock code again thru DVDinfoPro and repeat
Once you see it is less than 4.00TB save the PFI and DMI files then go back to READ tab
on the left change the botton to "Current Partion"
Then Click Start
after that just open the ISO with DVD mulleterBeta Load the ISO and run the CRC Check all will be ok then make sure you insert the stealth option
and just check on the tick boxes that iXtreme is now ticked
then at the bottom click Make DVD file :D
Then Open it up with IMG Burn LD All Good (make sure to set booktype to DVD-ROM by clicking the little book on the bottom right
That is how i got my BenQ to rip and burn and works perfect
I just need to find a Cheap UK Dealer of DVD+R DL Media and maby a game rental website ;)

HAHAHA Never Mind they are the same disks i am using at the moment God i can be thick at times LOL
Ok well my previous post has the ink to some Printable disks that DO WORK in the 360 Samsung and BenQ and Hitachi Drives :D
And My GTA4 worked perfect with no jumping errors on 8X firmware with this disk
But my WSOP is jumpy :(

seriously. First off, you shouldnt be mad at anyone for giving you advice, as you didnt state that this was your only option, only that you prefer to do it that way. anyway, ifi might make a sugestion that will make you life easier. spend the money, buy the drives you need to do it in your pc. they are a lot cheaper then you might think. you can get a sh-d162a/b/c/d on ebay for about 40 bucks. and almost all dvd burners, including the cheap 30 dollar ones will burn DL discs at a reasonable speed. i reccomend a sansung burner, as i have had great success with them. but seriously, if you can afford the discs to make the backups, you can afford to buy the drives to do it. your talking about 70 dollars. the grief and stress you will lose alone will be well worth it. i used to do it the hard way too, but beleive me, it is a investment i am glad i made. also i would be happy to provide a step by step for this method, should you decide to do it.

i have this BenQ working fine now, i got a broken 360 from a friend and it was a BenQ so i just took it out and flashed it with 0800 firmware and now i jst leave it running in my PC :D
I have a NEC DVD-RW 2500A with the newest firmware on it and it burns my 360 backups perfect :D i love this NEC drive i have had it since they 1st came out with no problems at all :D
those ritek disks work just fine even with GTA4 but i need to try COD4 again as sometime that comes up as unreadable every now and again whilst playin Team Deathmatch BUT it could of just been my rip (it was the second rip i did)
|m havin more problems with this Hitachi LG drive 46... i can get it in mode B perfect and windows see's it but for some reason ixtreme 1.4 says it could not restore it or even flash it.. but i shall persit

Ok i need help anybody please :D
I have Xtreme 2.4 -Hitachi-LG
i want to have iXtreme (Obviously its better ;))
i get the drive in mode b fine i can restore my drive using xtreme 2.4 in a dos box but when i go to double click FlashIX.exe it asks me for my drive "D" and then i just get error sayin "are you sure its a hitachi etc..." Yes i am sure its a 0046DH (46 for short)
How can i still flash back to xtreme 2.4 but yet i carnt flash iXtreme 1.4 because it says the drive wont let it
the system can not execute the specific program
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
ERROR: Hitachi DVD drive is NOT flashing!!!
etc. etc. etc.
Any help Please :D

use the '360 firmware toolbox' program to flash your hitachi, its much easier in my opinion. just get it into mode b and then follow these instructions:
1. Open 360 Firmware Toolbox v4.0
2. Tools > Direct Drive Dump (GDR Only)
3. Choose your DVD drive from the drop-down list (there should only be one)
4. Click the button labeled "RAW Dump Firmware As ..."
5. Save the original firmware as original.bin somewhere safe
6. It will tell you that the firmware has been dumped and ask if you want to open it, select "Yes"
7. Make sure everything looks pretty normal, nothing out of the ordinary
8. Go to Tools > Smart Hack Patcher
9. Read the warning and then accept it
10. On the line labelled "output file" click the box to the right with the ellipsis (three dots) and save your output file as hacked.bin
11. Make sure the rule set is for Hitachi v78 drives
12. Hit "Generate File"
13. Again, it will ask if you want to open the firmware, select "Yes"
14. Go to Tools > Direct Drive Flash (GDR Only)
15. Select Differential Flash (PATCH)
16. Select your Hitachi DVD drive from the drop-down list
17. Hit "Read Drive and Detect Differences"
18. Select "Start Flashing" and wait for it to finish (very fast)
19. Test it all out

I use a Samsung TS drive just for ripping. I never hit "Unlock Drive", because it's already unlocked in 0800 mode. The same would apply to the Benq 0800.

Thanks for the Hitachi Guide dude... i only went and killed myne after using that birdy program... BUT all is well thanks to ripping off second hand stores ;) (Oh and my new 1 has a Hitachi too :( LoL
Thanks for the info about not having to send the UNLOCK code...
i would of thought that 0800mode wouldnt need the unlock code but in XBC wen i try and rip the SS.bin it kept sayin that the media size was 4.00TB but after sending the unlock code it works.... Either way i can rip now YAY
