I took a quick look through the forums, but really could not find a the answer I needed.

The other day I lost my magic memory stick... was not impressed.

Need to get another and saw a deal for a SANDISK ULTRA II 512MB MS PRO DUO. I know for normal applications this would work fine. however I wish to make this my dedicated magic memory stick. Will this work fine ?

yeah it should be compatible it just has a faster write speed form the computer i believe
