I've been renting DVDs from Netflix for about a year. I haven't had a problem playing any DVDs on my PC until I rented this Michael Jackson disk. As soon as it starts I get a terrible loud hissing static sound. I use Windows Media Player 11, Media Player Classic (latest update), VLC Player, Interactual Player and Total Video Player. I get the static hiss on all of them except VLC. I've exchanged the disk 3 times and it's the same problem each time. Even with decryption on (AnyDVD 6.34) it's still the same. Is there anyway to remove the noise? My codecs are all updated. I'm at a loss. Can anyone help?
