ok guys so i got a console with the ring of death and it wasnt registered so i registered it in my name only thing is i think it was already registered and they just put it in my name. reason being is i know the previous owner and he already sent it to ms once and it got rejected due to a broken sticker so i assumed he had to register it before he sent it. so anyway i am not worried about the registeration process, what i am worried about is it got rejected for a broken seal, so i bought one and am gonna slap the new one on, do they keep a record of rejected ones? anyone know? also do you have to apply heat to get the sticker off of whatever it is stuck on to put it on the xbox? if so should there be a cool down time before i stick it on the xbox? thanks in advance, homesick-

if its already been rejected, they probably wont accept it back for a repair order. but if they do, then just warm up the new sticker since it will probably be on a piece of wax paper, and then put it on the console and you are good to go.

ok, well i gave them the console serial and everything and told them i had no idea why it got rejected so she sent me some ups labels in my e-mail 10 minutes later and told me to send it in. so sounds like i am good to go thanks wabashman.

no problem. just be careful when you warm up the label that you dont send it flying across the room. it doesnt need to be super warm, just warm enough to get it off of the wax paper.

If they didn't repair it the first time like you said due to broken seal I don't think they record anything. They only record the refurbs/ones they fix. So I think it will be fine.
