I was flashing my 360 and it took forever to read the firmware information, it kept repeatadly going from 0 to 100%. Finally it finished, said to reboot. I rebooted and flashed the drive with the created firmware file and now the drive only reads DVD movies. I'm not sure what happened and like an idiot I delete the flash files and redid the process thinking I made a mistake. But now it doesn't recognize the drive after running DSAM. I get the Primary Xtreme choice, but when I select it, the process just hangs.
I was using Iprep with the v1.4 of the firmware flash.
its from a bad flash if it will only read dvd movies. you can try to run the rsam command, and it might restore it back to original. however, if that doesnt work then you now have a 400 paper weight.
reflash the drive, and make sure you check when its done that it doesnt say like check sum error of 443509 or something like that. or reflash it and make sure it will play burnt/original games.

Just do the exact same process as before, but this time make sure you have a valid key in there, it should be FFFFFFFFFF... it should be mroe like: EASCGETSGDFFGD.....
im taking it that you used iprep, and the command line of dsam? if so, it should, but make sure to check your key before you run the fsam command incase it gave you a bad file.
