Hi there, hope this hasn't already been covered & your all gonna have a go at me ;). What's happened with the pre modded 360's? They dont seem to be being advertised on line anymore, (just when I was gonna be getting one soon) what about soft modding them, is that just as good? Thanks for your answers....in advance.

look on ebay and there's a guy who sells them with ten games of your choice,he always has ads up, with his email address, contact him and he can help you out.

Look for someone to mod it on Craigslist. Anyone who openly sells copied games online with the premodded console is just asking to get nailed by the Feds.

If you get a modchip for your XBox 360 it is the same thing as flashing the firmware(soft modding).The only thing different with a modchip would be the on board flash that stores the firmware on the chip.If you get a modchip or soft mod it there is no difference between the two as they use the same technique.For playing on Live they both can probably be detected so if you play Live alot then modding your XBox 360 is taking a chance for online usage.If you don't care about Live then mod away till your hearts content.

Hacked FW is the way to go, don't get into Modchip mess. It's more expensive and mroe complicated.
