Movies, mp3s, and pictures don't show up on my PSP...what gives?

Hey all,

I've had my PSP Slim for a while now, but never really used it for anything other than playing games and emulators. In the past, I've been able to view pictures, play mp3s and movies on it with no problems. The other day, I put some of each in the appropriate folders on my Memory Stick, but when I try to access them from the XMB, it tells me, "There are no (blank)" with blank being pictures, music files, or videos, depending on which I try to play.

My PSP is a Slim, with 3.90 m33-3. I've been able to determine that the problem is my system, as I was able to play videos/pics/songs from my card on a friend's PSP Slim with 3.90 m33-3. I was also able to play all three media types from his card and my card on his system, so my system is clearly the problem.

I can't figure out what the problem is. I went into both of our recovery menus, and we both had the exact same settings.

Anybody have any ideas what the problem with my system might be?

try reforatting the card via psp
