Ok heres the thing. I want to do an external dump of data onto a psp without using a computer. I figure if they have a cord that goes from the PSP and ends in a female usb port I can do it. The USB source would have to have its own power because the PSP cant power through its USB jack. Maybe like a wiped IPOD or something. If I can get an IPOD to connect I can move Data with PSPFiler. Is this crazy. Does a cord like this exist? Does anybody know what the hell I am talking about? Correct answers win a cookie...

I dont think that this would work. I don't really know much about the workings of USB, but AFAIK every device is either a CLIENT or a HOST. I think that both the PSP and the IPOD would be clients, and therefore cannot connect to each other. You would have o connect a client to a host, and then the host to another client.

You would have to transfer the data from the PSP to the PC, then to theIPOD.

Thats how it works in my basic knowledge...but im sure someone who knows more about it will be along soon.

EDIT: Typo.
