Trying to downgrade from official 3.80 firmware via 512mb memory stick and pandora's battery.

My friend has a pandoras battery and has downgraded several PSPs successfully, however, since mine is a PSP1006 version(Hong Kong/ Singapore), we are having trouble downgrading it.

I'm entirely new to the whole process, but i think the main problem is that when the pandora battery goes back into my psp, the black screen with the white writing loads up, but then it crashes. We try to press the buttons, but it doesn't do anything. Could it be possible that the software is different for 1006 versions and we are using the wrong one? What software do i need?

Skip the battery part, since you already have one
