MKV2VOB File won't play on my PS3?

Ok, so now i've spent like 3 hours trying to find a program that will convert a 1080P MKV file into a Playable MP4 with subs with the same quality and finally i came across MKV2VOB.

Problem is that when i tried to play the vid on my PS3, it didn't show up? I converted a 1080P sample file from transformers with a random SRT file just to see if it worked. I transcoded with Mpeg-2 into MP4 and yeah i've tried pressing Show All files or whatever it's called on the PS3.

If anyone knows exactly what confg i should convert the video with to be able to play it on my PS3 then please, share your knowledge.
