I got my D2Pro and wii-clip today and install went easy (on D2C Drive). I was just thinking about setting up the region free just in case I want to play any down the road. Just to confirm:

I already soldered points 5, 6, 7, and 8 from the d2pro chip to to wii-clip.

So the question is, do I solder a wire from those solder points already made to the points on the wii drive in the diagram?

Essentially 3 points will be soldered together for each of those 4 spots (the wii-clip, the mod chip, and the wire that goes to its respective point on the drive)

I also plan to close jumper 1 on the D2pro since I own a US (NTSC) Wii)

Thanks for the help.

If anyone has any info for me I would greatly appreciate it. I tried wiring the extra 4 wires as I described above and now the chip is NOT booting anything off of a backup. All solder points look good too, they're easy points...

Thanks for your Help
