iprep and xtreme boot maker not accepting firmware

ok so i've been going through a million guides on how to flash this ms28. I got iprep, and when i go to load the firmware it says 'no valid firmware loaded'. I downloaded ixdef and manually overwrote it since i couldn't update on iprep either and still no-go.

i got xtreme boot maker 0.3.6 and i try to load the firmware i get 'you have selected an unknown firmware', and i get an error when i try to update that.

What do u think is going on, i got my pci sata card, it's recognized in both of the programs, i jst can't get the firmware loaded.

what FW are you trying to load onto it in iprep?

i think i messed up. i was tryin to put the 5.2 xtreme on, but i out the samsung 1.4 on and it worked. the problem is now dos isn't recognizing my drive

make sure your drive is connected to the primary sata slot on the pci card. the correct slot is located towards the 'front' of the pc.

still a no-go. i read somewhere about hexediting mtkflash, but i don't think i'd need that since i'm running off the card

no you shouldnt have to do any editing. when you in iprep there should be a little check box that says something like 'edit mtkflash' or something like that towards the middle of the program box. make sure that is checked and it should work then.

yep i patched mtkflash and it's still not seeing my drive
