and i got the iso
but when i tried to convert it to MP4 to play back on my psp
it wouldnt start converting
because the movie files were in a folder

you dont convert the iso
copy the iso to your ISO folder which is located in the root of the memory stick

and .iso is just a compression file psp can read .iso and .cso for games

if its a video umd it needs to go into the video folder in the iso folder for it to work. then press select on the xmb and go to iso video mount and select your movie

I just tried all iso modes and none would show the video unless you have a umd in.

well good luck because it wont work unless you know the format that you can encode.

no dvd/iso converter will work as its not coded the same as a vob file

so unless you know something i dont know it wont work

soz but sometime it doesnt get through to some people for some reason.

if you have a slim you can do real time recording

like you plug the t.v out to the pc and then record direct from there live

or you can play the umd on your comp (with one of mrgeooy's guides) and then record the screen and get a video editor and crop it to the video.

or just download it as a mp4 back up

yeah if u have m33 custom firmware just hit {SELECT} at your menu (xmb)
and go down to UMD ISO MODE and select - M33 driver

you can also do it from recovery mode

in recovery mode
go to configuration ->
and go down to UMD Mode and select - M33 driver -NO UMD-

hope that helps
