mkv on XviD4PSP problem!!!

this is bugging me so muchh........
every time i try to open a mkv file on this program to convert it, i get this error message: FFmpegSource: Video codec not found

i already installed the CCCP! Can someone tell me whats the problem and tell me how to fix it!!

i updated directshow and it still says the same thing!!

any other advice?

(i can play mkv files in windows media player...
that means i have the right codecs installed, but why is it not opening
in Xvid4PSP??!!)
