go to the tutorials and read them. thats why they are there. as far as an answer to your question. you will need to provide more info. but read the tutorials before you post any more questions.
for backing up games, either download them, easier, but takes longer. or buy the samsung shd-162c PC drive as it can read the 360 games. costs about 50 bucks with shipping from ebay, but is well worth the money.
for burning the games, just download imageburn, or buy a copy of slysoft's clonecd, and burn the games on some dual layer verb's.

yea, the hitachi is a dvd model, along with the samsung, and benq. just eject your dvd drive, and then do a search on 'xbox 360 drive pictures' on google, and compare what you have to the pictures.
