I live in China so all my wii games are copies that I buy at the store you can't even buy real games here and all wii consoles come pre modded. Anyway im curious as to why I can make an image of my games with IMGBURN when im not using a special LG DVD writer? Is it because the games have allready been copied and it removes some protection? Just wondering if anyone knows this as I can't test my dvd writer on a real game as I cant find one?

Only origional games need to be read with the LG drive. Backups can be read with any drive.
