I think many of you know the guitar hero xplorer controller.Ok so I spray painted my guitar hero xplorer guitar black on Wednesday.Everything went well.I got a perfect black look on my guitar.No smears nothing and smooth as factory made direct.I used Rust O Leum brand plastic spray paint if your interested BLACK.(I was gonna go with Flat Black Krylon but this one needed no primer.And i couldnt find Krylon anywhere but an HVAC supply store which is downtown somewhere...)
ANyways,everything was going well, right.At least thats what i thought.Then I came home and my mom had cleaned the garage.....I ad put some nylon on the floor so no smears would get on the garage floor.Not that it cant be cleaned but to save work and time.SO EVeRything had been spray painted nicely.The front/back covers came along fantastic.I almost wanted to kiss it.lol jk.And if any of yah are familiar with that triangular white part on the original guitar,I had taken that apart and used White Enamel spray paint to paint over it and make it look nice.So that went well too.Now,I came home on thursday and saw she had cleaned the garage.The paint had dried and nothing went wrong at all.And then I found the two front and back gh guitar covers and saw they were looking nice.But i coodnt find the white part!!JUST WHERE THE H3LL COOD IT B?!?!?!?SO after searching every corner,it turns out my dear mother hadnt been paying AtTENTION and thrown it away with the NYLON!ON TRASH PICKUP DAY WHICH IS THRUSDAY~-~it was far from being okay.SO now i only have the front and back covers and not that triangle part that goes on the front which is white.Is anyone willing to sell theirs on Ebay or something so I can buy it.Im just asking.I dont have any hope anymore probably.It would be great if someone had a spare or something.So the main point is that now i dont have that white part and who knows how far away it is now.Probably burnt to ashes.So if anyone is willing to generously sell theirs,Id be greatful to accept the transaction over Ebay or something.THanks everyone for taking their time reading this long "article" if u say so and Id appreciate any help.OR anysite that sells spare gh parts.I am really looking forward into finishing this paint project and closing my gh guitar.I hope I can do something about it.
that seems like a pretty big inconvinience. i dont have anything to help you, as i gave away my guitar hero guitar when i got rock band, but i will say the given the wear andtar on these things, because of how you use them, you are bound to find someone willing to sell one that doesnt work. have you tried ebay yet? Also, if you cant find anyone here, you might try scorehero. its a website dedicated to these games. you may be able to get better results in their forums, as almost everyone there plays these games. good luck man.
I have tried ebay and some selling sites like amazon.No luck.Ill try scorehero though.I can spend 30 bucks on ebay and get a brand new xplorer but why wood i need it.I only need the triangle part of it.and also,ill try scorehero.com......I shouldve thought of that earlier.So do play alot of musical generd games?
i assume that was a question, i couldnt quite understand, but if you intended to ask me if i play a lot of music genre games, then yes, i do. ive played guitar hero since the first one came out, and i am currently playing rock band, and plan on getting guitar hero 4 when it arrives. i also play a lot of music creating games, such as magix music creator, ejay clubworld, etc... both of those are on ps2. i actually started to learn how to play a real guitar, (a lot harder btw) havent gotten very far, but i hope to be able to play somewhat good by next year.
Thats nice.I was going to take guitar lessons over this summer but i gotta call the dude who teaches it and see how it is and stuff.And I can see how hard real guitar is.You need alot of finger stamina.lol.I dont want to get off topic here so lets get back on with the first convo.So Ill go and join scorehero in the forums and see what i can find over there.
