I'm having a problem getting HDloader to start on my PS2. I've had HDloader 0.7c on it for a couple of years now and it has always worked fine up until recently. Whenever I remove the hard drive to install new images, after remounting the hard drive HDloader doesn't boot. The Sony startup screen comes up and the screen flashes white and goes black and doesn't change from there.
I have to remove the hard drive, disconnect it from the network adapter and reattach it many times before I get HDloader to work. But now, even after reattaching the hard drive many (~40) times, it still wont work.
What could be going wrong here? I haven't changed the software or anything. I'm still using the same hard drive that first used.

Have you tried doing a scan/repair using WinHiip. See if that fixes it first.
If not,Maybe something happened to the partition where you are loading your hdloader.elf
Can you view it through uLaunch4.12 to see if the elf file is still there
