I first installed the CC Firmware, then I inserted the hacked firmware R34.
Installed the firmware, after it said it was successful. Restarted PS2 and installed BM that was on the hacked disc to CC Flash. After a period of time it brought me back to the screen where it asks you where to install the BM. I assume its done so I restart. It boots into BM but when I insert a disc the screen flashes and I get back to the main menu. Original PS2 DVD no good, backup no good. It does play CD's, backup/original/audio, just no DVD's, any hints.
I even just replaced the laser with a new one just in case this was the problem, 400C, and it still only reads cdroms, (audio, psx, originals, and backups). But it still will not read any DVD's (original or backups). Any ideas???
