HELP!!! PANDORA'S BATTERY PROBLEM!!

hi! to start off, I do have a Pandroa's battery. I downgraded my PSP Fat to a cfw, from 3.95. Now I am trying to downgrade my friend's slim. I made a magic memory stick (by putting in all the 1.50 files and stuff like that from a youtube video) and I put in the pandora's battery, and nothing happens. So then I try to go back to my hacked psp fat and put in the pandora's battery even when there is a magic memory stick in, and nothing happens again. it is charged. i know this because a green light comes up. what i am saying, is the pandora's battery isn't doing anything now... can anyone help me? and help me to downgrade my friend's psp slim?!?!? thanks soo much!!
