I would like to buy a white ceramic PSP, I will number my questions so it will be easier to read/answer. I also read a lot of posts around here and I got some answers but most of them are outdated and I would like to check if everything I understood is correct and still available. So:
1. Any advice where to buy it from? Amazon, Play.com, Argos, etc?
2. Should I look for anything in particular, do they still have those nunbers on the box so I will know what firmware version do they have?
3. Any problems in particular with the white slim ones? Anything to look for?
I bought one year ago a normal black one for my sun and I made it work with iso's with no problems, now I really like the white one and I want to be sure it's moddable with less (or the same) risks involved. I don't want to buy it and to see after that I can't do nothing.
1) play would likey to be the cheapest but shop around there are many other very cheap places but argos is a big NO unless they have a very good offer.
2) doesnt realy matter what fw it is as there all moddable
3)nope appart from they get dirtier easier than the black lol
if you still have your sons modded black phat then it'll be a piece of cake to mod if not id advise buying a datel tool battery at the same time.
hope that helps
(for modding the slim with the fat one use upms very easy to use and works with slim guide on this site)
I bought it and also a Datel battery, I am charging it now.
I would like to know, the situation it's a bit confusing, I am looking on different forums and I see several guides. Which one should I use, I mean.. what CFW should I put on the PSP in order to be play as many games/iso's as I can? Will be 3.71 M33-2 a good choice or not?
yer but id suggest goint to 3.90m33 or 3.80m33 as they have m33 auto update which means you connect it wifi and then click the update icon on the psp and it will update to the newest m33 fw
so 3.71m33+ is good but 3.80m33 or 3.90m33 would be better
but when 4.00m33 comes out may homebrew developers will be forced to make the homebrew for a higher kernel so some homebrew will be ported to work on 4.00m33.
