Storage Disaster - How to store DVDs

Right now we store all our CD/DVDs in large binders. When our inventory was small this allowed one to flip from page to page searching for a title. But now we are up to 3700 different discs and 15 big & heavy binders. It's a big mess! People remove a title from one book and put it back in another making our index system worthless. Better yet they just leave it on the workbench with all the other junk they haven't returned to the right place. There has to be a better way... I'm sure our inventory is small compared to some of you all. How is the best way to store these CD/DVDs? I would really like to keep all the media together in one spot.
