As my names suggested I am a wii Newbie, however this forum has provided answer to a lot of my questions, thanks to you all:D
But I am a little bit confused about this one thing, my Wii is a Japanese wii with a mod chip, and I live in Australia, I know I have the latest firmware (J3.2) so I Was wondering if I was to buy a Australia PAL game, should it still be asking me to update the firm ware or it should load it right away?
and if I have the latest Japanese firmware does this mean at most my wii will be semi bricked and not full bricked?
also notes: u can see if the game wants to update simply by looking at the main menu when u put the disc in. if u see the game title in the disc channel then it doesnt require update. if it appears some kanji that means firmware update then it does require a new update to play. which of course u shouldnt do becuz its out of region.
